Rajasthan chapter of IAPSM conference was organized intermittently from last many years but there was no governing body for this Rajasthan chapter. These conferences were organized by organizing committee of conference which was organized at the time of conference and used to dissolve after the conference. First time on XI conference of Rajasthan chapter of IAPSM held at Mahatma Gandhi Medical Science and Research Centre, Jaipur along with organizing committee of conference an executive committee was constructed for Rajasthan chapter of IAPSM and approved by National Body of IAPSM present at that conference. With tireless effort of executive committee a society entitled “MARUDHARA CHAPTER OF IAPSM SOCIETY” was registered under the Rajasthan Society Act 1958 (RAJASTHAN ACT NO. 28, 1958 ) on date 06.04.24 at registration number COOP/2023/JODHPUR/203975 having following Executive Committee at the time of Registration:-
To create a various activities to improve standard of teaching and research in preventive and social medicine at all levels in state of Rajasthan.
This society is conducting various activities like conferences, blog writing, research proposal, various courses traing related to subject, running a journal of its own, election conduction etc.
This society is conduction election every two year to elect its governing body.
This Society has its members aged 21 years or more and literate who believe in objectives of society. There are two type of membership i.e. Life member/Founder member and ordinary member.
This society is promoting research proposals and involve in providing all the resources regarding conduction of research on accepted protocol.
This society is supposed to published its own journal Quarterly
IAPSMRAJCON conferences are organized every year in Rajasthan to improve the standered of research in public health and to have the vision to way forward.
This society is supposed to conduct various courses related to the subjects time to time.
